Healing From The Ashes has a series of Special Events going on through the month of October. These events include receptions, film screenings, poetry readings and a potluck. The Special Events coincide with the art exhibition of pieces made from remnants rescued from ravaged fire sites and transformed into beautiful and meaningful works of art. Continue reading →
Just a quick clarification about the Healing From the Ashes show and the private reception on October 2.
The art exhibition and auction runs from October 3-21, as indicated on the post card that was attached to the previous announcement.
The reception on Saturday, October 2, is a private reception specifically for Station Fire Survivors and their guests. It’s a time for us to come together as a community to share our strength with each other and to view the exhibition before it is opened to the general public. Some of the artists and sponsors might be there, but for the most part it’s our party.
Because the event on October 2 is a private reception for Station Fire Survivors, it is tremendously important that you RSVP to Ariyana if you plan to attend. (Did I mention how important it is that you RSVP if you’re a Survivor and you plan to attend on October 2?!?!? Just checking… )
All the events listed on the postcard are open to the general public… these events are free to Station Fire Survivors.
Apologies for any confusion.
